This is my second year riding with the ministry... Last year was an incredible experience. The team that assembled to ride together quickly became a family bonded by the Love of Christ and called into action to fight for those who can't always fight for themselves. Isn't that what we are called to do... James tells us in chapter 1 verse 27 "...to look after orphans and widows in their distress...".

As I learned more about the people of Dungu last year: the poverty, the war, women defiled, boys forced to make life and death decisions about their families; I became convicted to help bring hope and the Love of Jesus in whatever small way I could.

Last year we rode to begin raising awareness, this year we have the chance to begin rebuilding this community. We have the opportunity to purchase a brick-making machine that will allow for the beginning of a campus to be built where training for jobs, counseling, and pastoral training can take place. We need $75,000. I know it seems like a lot but with 24 riders and a number of support people we can make that number and then some.

My personal goal is $2500.00... Please help with whatever you feel the Spirit is calling you to give. I will appreciate it and I know the people of Dungu town will as well.
